Welcome to the Diocese of the Ascension
...for the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches (CEEC).
The Diocese of the Ascension is the resident home to vocational chaplains serving in the Armed Forces of the United States, in the Veteran's Administration (VA), in hospitals and with medical agencies, for Police and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire Departments, and higher education institutions. The Diocese of the Ascension is the 'sister' diocese to the newly formed Diocese of the Saint of Saints within the Province of St. Peter. While the Diocese of the Ascension is the resident home to all endorsed/certified vocational (paid) chaplains, the diocese of the Saint of Saints is the residence for the Canonical Order of Chaplains.
